OK folks, it’s that time of year again: time for the annual ShareMTB Poker Ride and fundraiser. The 3F Bike Club is pleased to once again offer up volunteer support for this event! All proceeds go to the Orange County parks system in the form of volunteer service hours, cash, and supplies for trail work. Ever wonder who maintains all the trails in Orange County? It’s these guys! So your participation in this even directly affects your future usage of the parks.

This year’s Poker Ride will be at Santiago Oaks. If you’ve never done the Poker Ride before, you definitely want to check this out! You ride around the park and collect poker cards. The best and worst hands win prizes, in addition to the raffle. Your entry fee includes lunch and a couple drinks courtesy of one of my favorite beer companies, New Belgium Brewing Company. If you buy a membership to ShareMTB, they’ll give you a t-shirt as well as reduced pricing on future ShareMTB events. AND to top it off, if you’re one of the first 100 people to register, you’re gonna get a $10 gift certificate to the Path Bike Shop. Cost is $10 for current ShareMTB Members, $30 for Non-Members, $40 for New Members + Free T-Shirt! Add $5 Late Fee for registering after May 13.
