Join us for some chair lift assisted cross country downhill riding!
We'll do our first run at 9AM so get there early and be ready. If you're late, wait for us near the chair lifts for the next run.
Got a GMRS radio? We'll be on channel 7 / 7 but note that we may not be able to hear you if we're behind a mountain range. If you need to reach me, call or text 714-280-6253, but don't expect an immediate response.

*Helmets are required for all mountain bike riders using Scenic Sky Chair
Only cross-country style bikes are permitted on the Scenic Sky Chair. No downhill specific bikes will be transported. Any one of the following four factors will disqualify a bike from being transported on the chair.
1. Bikes must be less than 35 pounds.
2. Designated tire size must be less than 2.5.
3. Front shock must have less than 6.5 inches of travel.
4. Bikes must have at least two chain rings unless they are single speed.
The all day access pass is just $25.00.

Sunday, May 22, 2011: The Weed Patch

THIS IS AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL RIDE
The Weed Patch (aka San Clemente Singletracks) is a 12 mile ride on a combination of dirt fire roads, pavement, and (mostly) single track paths. There are some very steep climbs (expect to, but try not to walk up them!) and a lot of fun rolling descents.
From the 5 freeway, turn left. Go over the bridge and past the 1st stop sign (El Camino Real). Park anywhere along the road that's legal. We'll meet at the corner of Cristianitos Rd and El Camino Real in San Clemente.
