How to Find Your Lost Keys

If you’ve ever lost a set of keys on the trail, then you know the helpless feeling of having no idea where those keys ended up. It’s so simple though to get them back that I’m not sure why I didn’t think of it sooner. Here’s what you do:

Go to your local pet store and buy a custom pet tag – you know, the kind you can have engraved by yourself in a matter of minutes. Petsmart sells one for 10 bucks that’s big enough to engrave your name, phone number and address (4 lines of short text per side).

Of course, you don’t want to list your home address on the tag. And you’ll want to make sure that the phone number you use isn’t associated with your home address. But you can at least say something like “Reward if Found” and list your name and cell phone number.

Here’s mine. If you happen to see it on the trail, call me!
