One of my favorite loops around the Irvine Open Space, this one gives you a combination of easy bike paths, a long single track climb, a very technical single track descent, a somewhat hike-a-bike single track climb, and finally the big payoff: A super fast run down the Quail Hill trail. There are many variations of this ride. But this one ended up being 11.23 miles with 1,700 feet of often steep and technical climbs. The views at the top are just amazing – especially this time of year.
