The Mt. Pinos trail is one of the few trails in Southern California that is almost entirely downhill, making it suitable for big bikes. But be aware that this is a two-way trail used by mountain bikers, hikers and horses. People coming uphill have the right of way and mountain bikers should yield to all traffic. Below are two routes: the first is from the Chula Vista campground and the other is the “complete” route from the Nordic Ski area parking lot down, which passes through the Chula Vista campground.
