You can also park in nearby Turtle Rock Community Park, which is at 1 Sunnyhill, Irvine, CA which is open until 10PM daily. NOTE: When there’s a small parking area right by Shady Canyon Drive with a really nice brown driveway and bathrooms. This is the lot to use for public access in Bommer Canyon.

Aside from the views, the fun part of this ride is coming down the Quail Trail where you 700′ of 3 miles of beautiful trails down to Quail Hill Community Park. And from there it’s an easy paved ride winding through the ever green Shady Canyon.
