Fawnskin to Hanna Flats + Gray’s Peak

Including the bonus 800′, 4-mile round trip climb up to Gray’s Peak and back, this is a 12 mile loop on the northwest side of Big Bear Lake which begins in the town of Fawnskin. The trails are a combination of fire roads and mostly non-technical and flowy single tracks.

A Forest Adventure Pass is required to park at the Gray’s Peak trail head, which is a good place for people to meet if they’ve never been to this area. No pass is required if you park in the town of Fawnskin, but parking is limited.

Don’t Feel Like Climbing?

While there’s no way to entirely cut out the climbing of this ride, you can park outside of Hanna Flats and cut out the fire road climbing from Fawnskin up the fire road.
