Sat 9/8 @ 9AM – Limestone Open Access Day

NOTE: Worried about the heat? The forecast 74 degrees when we start and high 80’s when we finish. Bring plenty of water! If the heat is unbearable, we’ll skip the more advance sections of this ride. The lower canyon areas provide quite a bit of shade on the way to the sinks.

Arrive at 9AM for check-in. We’ll begin the ride as soon as possible after that. Plan on being here at least 2 hours if you’re a beginner and 3-4 hours if you’re intermediate to advanced.

We’ll begin with an easy fire road climb up to the Sinks where beginners can turn around and return on the same road (approx 10 miles round trip on a fire road). For those who want more distance, the real climbs will then begin! Count on 3-4 hours of riding over 12-16 miles.

The route shown at the site below will give you a general idea of what you can expect riding in the Limestone Canyon area.
