Sun 9/2 @ 9AM – Chiquito Downhill w/Shuttle

This is an intermediate to advanced level mostly single track trail with 2100′ of elevation loss and 750′ of elevation gain over approximately 8 miles. It will definitely feel like a lot more than that given the technical terrain and heat! Be prepared.

To compare this to other trails, GMR and Mt. Pinos are beginner rides compared to this trail. In some parts it’s even harder than Noble Canyon. Expect to do some walking down some of the gnarly sections!

Big Bikes are NOT recommended.

To participate in this ride, you need to be able to carry at least one other person and one other bike in your vehicle or bribe one of the drivers. (We’re easily bribed with libations and food.)

A Forest Adventure Pass is required to park. We’ll be meeting in the parking area across from the Ortega Oaks Candy Store, and then driving vehicles up where the trail begins near the Blue Jay Campground area. I have one extra pass.
